*Immd Need !!Firmware Developer -- Richmond, CA -- 6 to1+ Year Contract!!* Job Title: Firmware Developer Location: Richmond, CA Duration:- 6 to1+ Year Contract *Required Skill:-* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering. 5+ years of experience writing C++ code. Deep understanding of encapsulation, object-oriented design and design patterns. Extensive experience with embedded systems Extensive experience writing multi-threaded programs. Understanding of the cost-benefit trade-off of certain language features (such as templates, exceptions, STL). Familiarity with Linux at an administrator level, experience writing bash scripts. Experience working in a lab environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Write, maintain and refactor C++ code for embedded devices (mainly embedded Linux). Write automated tests for new features. Test communication with external devices in the lab. Troubleshoot issues in lab as well as in the field during alpha/beta trials. Maintain a fleet of thousands of devices.
