*Please go through the requirement And Send matching resumes to * *[email protected]* <[email protected]> Role: Database Administrator *Location: Chicago* * Duration: 1 year with likely extensions after a year Interview- phone * *Job Summary / Description:* Designs, maintains and improves multiple database by identifying and solving database requirements; supporting software engineering, etc. *Duties and Responsibilities:* *Database Administration* · Write and troubleshoot SQL Code and design (schema, stored procedures, functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes, constraints, permissions) from scratch · Understand the differences between SQL Server 2005, and 2008 · Experience/understanding of SSIS. · Understand and have successfully migrated databases from one version of SQL Server to the next. · Be able to document databases via a data dictionary and entity relationship. · Understand and explain database normalization forms. · Ensure operational resilience through backups, restores, recovery models, database shrink operations, DBCC commands, clustering, database mirroring, and replication. · Ensure responsive query results by query optimization, optimizing indexes, index management, integrity checks, configuration, and patching. · Monitor SQL Servers integrity via performance monitor, SQL Profiler and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools. · Maintain and monitor existing databases for SharePoint, CRM, custom applications and any other club owned databases. · Ensure timely acceptance and integration of external database content into club owned databases. · Responsible for data management of 3rd party vendors, including processes for delivery and load. · Maintain and eventually decommission SQL 2000 and 2005 servers · Migrate existing 2008 SQL servers to 2012 SQL Server · Troubleshoots and resolves database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, replication issues, log shipping issues, connectivity issues, security issues etc. · Support database functions by designing and coding utilities to aid developers in development. · Help design and architect next generation database layer for use in all internal development. · Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards. · Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. · Determine best method for data retrieval in terms of reporting needs (i.e. Analysis Services, flattened data structures, etc.) · Working with developers, redesign databases for source systems to ensure efficiency in data input and retrieval. · Participate in application development projects and be responsible for the database architecture and design as part of the team. *Preferred skills:* · Knowledge of C# and ASP.Net · Experience with SQL Server 2012 · SQL Server Analysis Services *Qualifications:* · Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience a must! · Minimum 4 years of broad experience in database administration. · Proficient in technologies and software from Microsoft. *Personal Attributes:* · Detail oriented. · Excellent analytical, problem solving, organizational and communication skills. · Team player, willing to do whatever necessary to get the job done. · Ability to prioritize and manage many projects at a time. *Organizational "Fit" Considerations:* · Must have the ability to work in a high pressure, fast paced environment. · Able to work non-traditional hours, in non-traditional settings including evenings, weekends and holidays. · Flexible in personal schedule to facilitate better support of end users. *THANKS & REGARDS* *SRIKANTH* *IT Recruiter.* *SVK Systems INC.11465,Johns Creek.Georgia-30097.* *Direct : 678-387-2924 | Email id : **[email protected]*<[email protected]> *Find us in Web: **http://www.svksystems.com/* <http://www.svksystems.com/> -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Open Source Erp & Crm" group.
