Role : Infrastructure Design Lead/Architect (ERP)
Location : Milwaukee, WI
Duration : 18 month
Job Description :
Ø I wanted to follow-up and see where you are with 1 need we have already
sent you and to share with you an additional need we have.
Ø This position's focus area is the design and engineering of server, storage,
network, and DB services, spanning the integration of multiple functional
business
areas.
Ø In addition, the incumbent will need to create, update and maintain design
documents for various parts of the Solution Design Package, including service
functional requirements, service level requirements,
Ø service operational requirements, as well as provides guidance to processes
in the service availability, service capacity, and service continuity areas.
Relevant Experience:
Minimum of 10 or more years of successful project deliveries with a focus
on infrastructure design.
Experience with large scale program and project engineering and design.
Extensive experience with designing and engineering one or more of the
following
infrastructure platforms or disciplines a must:
Ø Cisco UCS, UF, ANS, Catalyst and Nexus switching for Enterprise-class Data
Centers
Ø Software-defined Networking
Ø IBM Blade Center H/S
Ø IBM XIV, Storewize, and FlashSystem
Ø Enterprise-class MSSQL and DB2 designs
Ø IBM Metro or Global Mirror
Ø VMWare ESXi, Microsoft Hyper V, or VMWare View
Ø VCE VBlock
Ø AIX, Windows, Enterprise Redhat, or Ubuntu in a highly-available resilient
environment
Ø Designing highly-available, low-latency and low-jitter global data and
storage
networks for e-Commerce and Manufacturing
Ø Has a proven record of accomplishment in planning, managing, and designing
information systems, preferably in a consumer products, manufacturing or
distribution
company.
Ø Strong experience in, and orientation toward, solution design, project
management
and structured system development methodologies.
