The goal of the Asset Management Administrator (AMA) is to help *ensure reliability and availability of the asset management processes and data*(i.e. CMDB) in addition to the other process integrations (eg. OA Maintenance Contract, etc). The AMA, working with the Service Delivery Manager, assumes responsibility for planning, scheduling, communication, coordinating, and managing day to day tasks to sustain and improve the IT Asset Management functions) both the run-operate and continuous measurement and improvement aspects). The AMA must understand the concepts of asset reconciliation and have experience utilizing tools and methods to perform this activity both manually as well as via automated means. The AMA will be well versed in the activities required to *perform asset auditing* and will articulate strategies around the best methods for implementing such audits. The AMA will be *creating dashboards and reports* and provided on demand visibility of key IT Asset Management statistics (types, counts, locations, movement reports), licenses, maintenance & contracts, and cost information to provide Executive Management greater insight for decision criteria. The resource will be heavily engaged with current asset management initiatives, including the ITSD&C and ATMS project. The Environment currently administers 170 RFID/Inventory Tracking System users, tracks 40,000+ pieces of inventory and is responsible for coordinating yearly physical inventory procedures. *Skill * *Required /Desired * *Amount of Experience * Asset Management (Hardware, Software, Mobile Devices etc...) Experience in Enterprise Settings Required 7 Years Remedy Asset Management Module experience Required 7 Years ITIL Foundation Certification (additional ITIL certs preferred) Required 1 Years Experience creating Asset Management dashboards and reports Required 5 Years Asset Inventory experience Required 5 Years Mobile Reach product experience.
