Seeking a Healthcare Quality Assurance Lead with hands on QA/Testing
experience in technologies and methodologies within Healthcare environment;



Responsibilities

·         Accountable for Quality Assurance and Quality Control Testing for
assigned work

·         Drive process improvement, innovation to continuously improve
existing QA & Testing standards and practices

·         Coach and mentor team members to drive delivery excellence and
client delight

·         Lead, set priorities on a day-to-day basis for a team comprised
of multiple vendor and client team members

·         Provides overall direction, planning, and follow-up for assigned
work as well as self-directed initiatives

·         Provide regular reports to Program Management and Stakeholders on
status of work

·         Responsible for risk / issue identification, mitigation and
contingency planning

·         Responsible for resource, data, and infrastructure demand
forecasting and planning

·         Review test artifacts (test cases, scenarios etc.) produced by
the team and ensure adherence to client and industry QA standards and best
practices

·         Improve overall solution quality

·         Implement and track initiatives to drive down cost of testing



Required Skills

·         At least 5+ years experience managing team members in a fast
paced / agile QA environment (must have strong leadership skills)

·         Experience working as a Test Lead for a Health Plan organization

·         Hands on experience using formal QA / Testing methodology and
processes

·         Proven experience implementing process improvements,
out-of-the-box thinking, innovation to support assigned work

·         Ability to work independently, in a self directed manner and
manage multiple task assignments and priorities

·         Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the
ability to exercise mature judgment

·         Strong oral and written communication skills, including
presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)

·         HP Quality Center Administration and Reporting

·         Good partnering and customer relationship skills

·         Hands on testing experience of front end (e.g. Web) and mid-tier
(ETL, Web services, etc.) systems



Desired Skills

·         Experience creating and executing SQL using an Oracle or MS SQL
Database Environment

·         Programming / Scripting experience - e.g. VB scripting/Macro,
Javascript etc.

·         Automation experience using HP Quick Test Professional Automated
Test Tool

·         Experience testing one or more of the following EDI transactions:

o    276/277/820,834,835,837 EDI Transactions

·         Data Warehouse / ETL Testing Experience

·         Experience using EDIFECs Transaction Manager

·         Xcelys / Peradigm /Diamond Knowledge
