Senior Java Developer: · 7+ years of experience as a Software Developer supporting large application development life cycles · Strong understanding of Object Oriented concepts · Demonstrated experience of Design and Development using Java based technologies. · In depth knowledge and experience of the Spring Framework. · Strong understanding and proven experience with technologies such as Web-Services, XML/XSLT, JSON is required. · Strong understanding and experience of Messaging Framework esp. using JMS (experience with Active MQ will be a plus) · Understanding and Experience with building performance (Speed and Accuracy) critical applications is required. · Understanding of applications that use Rich Desktop clients is required. · Strong analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal are required. · Must possess PL/SQL programming and SQL tuning skills · Experience with building Rich Client Applications User Interfaces either using Eclipse RCP is desired. · Must be comfortable with test driven development and Continuous Integration (JUnit, Hudson, Code Coverage) · Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline (Master's Degree is Preferred) · Experience in Financial Industry and esp. with Portfolio Analysis Tools is preferred · Strong understanding of the Equity and Fixed Income Instruments is highly desirable Required Skills: · 7+ years of experience as a Java Software Developer supporting large application development life cycles · Candidate needs to have experience with Spring · Candidate needs SQL skills to write queries · Messaging experience is a must - JMS or MQ · Financial services experience is a + · Needs to be able to work in a fast paced team oriented environment · Candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills Thanks.
