Title: Infrastructure Engineer posted on 2014-04-02 08:30:02 Job Description:Responsibilities: - Serve as on-site technical liaison during deployment activities - Identify company assets, workstations, mobile devices, peripherals, etc as part of endpoint deployment - Troubleshoot enterprise-wide group policy objects within a Microsoft Active Directory environment - Responsible for hardening and troubleshooting Windows based solutions - Analyze and resolve customer problems by providing third level support to end-users - Produces detailed documentation including data flow, logical, and physical diagrams as required - Perform technical analysis of implementation options and provide recommendations - Supports first and second level support teams with Windows 7/8 migration tasks - Install and configure software, systems, integrations, and applications - Requirement to lift up to 30 pounds during deployment - Must also be able to work occasional weekends and after-hours as required Job Requirements: Required Skills: - Minimum 2 years experience in Information Systems or related field in a medium to large enterprise preferably in a multi-hospital and /or medical center setting - Works independently as well as collaboratively with minimal professional and managerial supervision. - Familiarity with the following Operating Systems/Applications (MS Windows 2000/XP/7/8, McKesson, Meditech, Health Management Systems, Cerner) - Broad Knowledge of IT systems including web servers, databases, applications, networking, authentication, authorization, storage, Windows, Linux and other major technologies - Must possess in-depth knowledge of Active Directory and LDAP technologies in Windows - Familiarity with programming/scripting languages such as .NET, PowerShell, VB, VBScript, Java, JavaScript a plus - The candidate must have ability and willingness to work in a team environment with preferred experience in a large company or government agency supporting multiple applications and systems - An undergraduate degree in computer systems or related field is required; however, it can be substituted with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Information Security or related field. - Experience in supporting Healthcare environment a plus Technical competence in areas listed above. Good customer service skills. Strong analytical and problem resolution skills and organizational skills. Strong ability to work on and prioritize multiple, concurrent projects while meeting aggressive deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
