*Position: **Ab Initio Developer* *Location: **Jacksonville, FL.* *Duration: 6+ Months contract plus extension*
*Interview mode: PhoneJob Description: *•Develops business relationships and integrates activities with other IT departments, i.e., Security, Database Administrators, etc., to ensure successful implementation and support of project efforts. •Develop Ab Initio programs to support external vendor extracts for claims, pharmacy, membership, provider data •Run, maintain and enhance monthly production external extracts. •Development, technical documentation, testing, production scheduling and maintenance related to the external extract process will be primary accountability. •Provides SME input to fellow IT staff on “workability” of designs, architecture, and testing. Researches and recommends solutions to client requirements, as needed •Provides scope, sizing and estimates time required to complete code and provides this information to the product manager for input to the project plan. Determines impacts and integration points. May participate in capacity planning with project manager or functional manager •Translates specification document requirements into code. Creates or modifies code for complex system designs. Write detailed technical design specifications. Ensure sufficient quality and compliance of documentation to architectural standards •Perform Unit Testing and Prepare Code for Release to Testing Team. Analyze Defects Found in Testing and Fix Coding Errors •Assist with Production Support issues/problems as required. Respond to and resolve production support issues *REQUIREMENTS* •5 or more years of ETL programming experience with Ab Initio •5 or more years' experience coding and documentation protocol as well as unit testing, change management and release procedures •2-5 years of strong experience with Data Warehousing, SQL, and UNIX shell scripting •Experience using Quest, Toad or Data Studio in a UDB DB2 database environment •Programming experience using SQL or similar query language for Oracle, DB2 z/os, UDB DB2 or SQL Server. •Advanced demonstrated proficiency and experience with AIX/Unix or IBM mainframe operating systems •Solid experience with technologies, systems, subsystems across multiple platforms. •Experience with file transfer protocols SFTP and FTP. •Experience mentoring or leading other programming or development staff. *Not Required but a plus:* •Programming experience using Micrsoft .Net; experience building web services using WCF architecture •Experience w/Ab Initio toolsets such as ACE, BRE and Metadata Hub Thanks Regards *Steven Olson* (Technical Recruiter) *Ennovace Inc* Ph: 214 541 9081 F: 972-913-8300 [email protected] www.ennovace.com 1801 S O'connor Rd Irving TX 75061 Disclaimer: We respect your Online Privacy.
