*Job Title : c/c++ Developer* *Duration : 12 months + (long term)* *Location : Herndon, VA* Position 1: *Technical Requirements – Protocol & Core Software Team (PCS):* · Solid experience with C++ and object oriented design and development. · Strong experience with Inter Process communications. · Strong Knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, sockets, VOIP etc. · Very good knowledge of Design Patterns. · Strong Knowledge of Linux or a POSIX O/S environment. · Good Experience with shell scripting. · Knowledge of Satellite communication is a plus. · Knowledge of Cryptographic concepts (Symmetric Key, Assymetric Key, IPsec, TLS) is a plus. · Understanding of IP routing is a plus. Position 2: *Technical Requirements – Management & Software Services Team (MSS):* · Strong problem solving skills or hands-on-experience with the following: · Strong experience with HTML/JavaScript programming. · Experience with a web programming framework, such as Prototype or jQuery. · Experience with server side languages such as Perl, C++. · Experience with a relational database, such as MySQL or PostgreSQL. · Experiences with a POSIX operating system, such as Linux or BSD. · Experiences with Distributed/Multi-Tier programming and IPC is a plus. · Knowledge of TCP/IP sockets is a plus. Position 3: *Technical Requirements – Embedded Software:* · Strong C/C++ programming experience · Strong software design skills with analytical problem solving abilities · Linux, POSIX, RTOS, device driver experience · Working knowledge of GNU development and debugging tools · Knowledge of Microprocessor architecture · Knowledge of TCP/IP, Sockets Programming · Knowledge of networking protocols · Understanding of FPGA based systems is a plus · Knowledge of Satellite communication is a plus · Some experience with Shell scripting is desirable *Qualification: * Any Bachelors or Equivalent Degree.
