*Job Location : Bloomington, IL*
*Duration : 12 Month contract*

Job description :

   ·  In depth understanding of ITIL (v3) Service Management best
practices, including how they are applied at State Farm through incident,
problem, and change management procedures.
   ·  In depth technical investigation, assessment and communication skills
that have been applied in a complex mult-platform IT environment.
   ·  The ability to translate complex technical issues into business
language.
   ·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills that can be applied
to all levels of the IT and business organizations.
   -  Experience providing technical hands-on or help desk support for
several of the following technologies (Windows, UNIX, WebSphere, Red Hat
Linux, z/OS Mainframe, MQ Middleware, Networking/Telecommunications).
   ·  Proven ability to work and thrive in a collaborative team environment.
   ·  Proven abiility to drive the swift resolution of incidents impacting
State Farm's ability to conduct business.
   ·  Proven ability and judgment to identify, engage, and coordinate
escalation teams to resolve issues in accordance to documented service
level objectives.
   ·  Proven ability and willingness to navigate the IT organization and
engage with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd tier teams to identify, research and resolve
service outages.
   ·  Proven ability to engage and direct activities through the
coordination and facilitation of meetings, teleconference calls and instant
message conferences.
   ·  Proven ability to manage multiple work efforts and conference calls
simultaneously.
   ·  Proven ability to listen in on resolution activities, report progess,
and respond to the needs and concerns of participants.
   ·  Proven ability and willingness to challenge the status quo, identify
service issues, and provide viable suggestions to improve service and our
overall customer experiences.
