Title: Project Manager III posted on 2014-04-25 10:53:49 Job Description:A contracted Project Manager 3 is needed in the short term for the Oregon Benefits On-line project under the Department of Human Services Modernization program. The Oregon Benefits On-line project was placed on hold in Fall 2013 and is preparing to restart. To ensure the contracted resource is able to be effective immediately in the project, we are seeking an individual with expert level project manager skills, background, experience, and the ability to do effective knowledge transfer in transitioning the project to a state project manager. Please see required supplimental questions attached. Position may require early morning, late evenin and possible weekend work to meet deadlines. Job Requirements: Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects. Oversees all aspects of projects. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project. Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project. May require a bachelor's degree and 7 or more years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of Contractor staff. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
