Role : PM - Infrastructure
Location: Columbus, OH
Duration: 6+ months
Interview: Skype
This position reports to the Senior Infrastructure Project Manager. This
position
does not manage employees directly.
MAJOR DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES and ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
50% Establish plans to support the completion and installation of Business
and internal IT approved projects into the enterprise. This includes project
definition, requirements gathering, documentation, analysis, estimation,
budgeting,
resource allocation, resolving conflicts, and delivering on-time solutions
in a highly matrixed global environment.
10% Maintain a solid Infrastructure Project Methodology practice to support
multiple concurrent enterprise initiatives.
10% Collaborate with all IT Teams to understand and define project requirements
and set priorities based on business needs. Adjust priorities in accordance
with business direction or regulatory requirements.
10% Communicate status to project stakeholders, senior management, and the
IT team.
10% Direct the work and performance of the Project Team. Provides assignments,
mentoring, coaching, training, and resource management.
10% Provide 7x24x365 assistance as necessary in support of NetJets' global,
high-availability operations.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
**A candidate with former experience on a BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) rollout
would be ideal**
Education:
Bachelor's Degree
Course of Study/Major: Information Technology or Computer Science
Type of Credentials/Licenses: PMP Certified
Related Work Experience: 6-8 years
* 5+ years of experience in an Infrastructure based Project Management role.
* Experience with project/resource management tools, resource planning, project
financial tracking, risk management, and project management life cycle
processes
and disciplines.
* Proven ability to perform business analysis and document project
requirements.
* Proven ability to manage multiple Infrastructure projects in a large global
environment.
* Experience managing projects being resourced in a matrixed support structure.
* Demonstrated strong communication, presentation, documentation, and technical
writing skills.
* Experience in risk management.
* Knowledge of ITIL best practices.
* Experience in various project management tools. Service-Now, MS Excel, MS
Project, etc.
* Experience facilitating meetings involving customers and technical staff,
including building consensus and mediating compromises when necessary.
* Experience in managing projects for the technology infrastructure in a real
time, 24X7 environment involving numerous systems and subsystems and
interdependencies.
* Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills.
* Demonstrated ability to learn and quickly comprehend new concepts and
technologies.
* Demonstrated strong leadership, mentoring, and delegates appropriately.
* Demonstrated strong judgment and decision-making ability.
* Experience producing status reports for multiple audiences, including general
project parameters and knowledge of statistical analysis.
* Willingness to accept responsibilities outside the explicitly defined role.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor's Degree
Course of Study/Major: Information Technology or Computer Science
Type of Credentials/Licenses: PMP & ITIL Certified
Work Experience: 8-10 years
* 7+ years of experience in an Infrastructure based Project Management role.
* Experience in developing project management methodologies in the Technology
Infrastructure space.
* Knowledge of general or commercial aviation.
* Contract negotiations* Experience implementing resource management tools
and project portfolio management.
