You’ll work closely with our cross-disciplinary staff to conceive and design innovative products. Your knowledge of current web and accessibility standards are second to none. The ideal candidate will have experience with the software development process and will be extremely passionate about accessibility and user experience. You must be responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment. *Job Responsibilities:* • Create enterprise-wide guidelines on how to make those technologies accessible to people with disabilities and compliant with accessibility standards • Instill best practices for software development and documentation, assure designs meet requirements, and deliver high-quality work on tight schedules • You must keep yourself up to date with the current trends, tools and technology • Work with UX designers to prototype experiences • Work with QA to develop testing practices to ensure accessibility *Key Requirements:* • 6-15 years of proven, hands-on success developing innovative websites, *front-end web applications*, and widgets. • Ability to provide concrete examples of user interfaces you design and develop. • Proficiency with modern front-end web development, including *HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript * • Experience with accessibility for one or more platforms (Web, Android, iOS) • Expert knowledge in current web standards and accessibility standards (Section 508, WCAG 2.0, Mobile Web/App Best Practices, User Agent Accessibility Guidelines), and Web Accessibility Initiative – Accessible Rich Internet Applications (WAI-ARIA) • Experience with CMS systems • Experience with responsive design and grid systems Additional Desired Skills: • Knowledge of Agile Methodologies • Ability to work well within teams of all sizes and collaborate with non-technical business partners • Ability to think creatively and proactively • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Experience in using assistive technologies (screen readers, video relay chat, augmentative/alternative communication) or consulting on the web accessibility • Identify and communicate best practices for front-end engineering and quality assurance. • Understanding of user experiences (including complex online tasks and mobile- and device-centric interaction)*.* Thanks Regards *Steven Olson* (Technical Lead) *Ennovace Inc* Ph: 214 541 9081 F: 972-913-8300 [email protected] www.ennovace.com 1801 S O'connor Rd Irving TX 75061 Disclaimer: We respect your Online Privacy.
