Title : Senior Security Project Manager Contract Duration : 3+ months Location : Marlborough, Massachusetts Interview process :Phone interview followed by in-person, if local, or Skype interview. Rate : Open Candidates MUST HAVE these skills/experience: * 7+ years PM experience * Demonstrated experience working on systems security projects * Experience with security tools, e.g. Qualys, Cobit, NIST, ITIL, etc. Minimum Requirements: Qualifications Candidates should have experience in the following areas. · PMP · Demonstrated expertise in managing enterprise class information security projects. · Excellent analytical skills, as well as strong attention to detail · Understanding of security best practices and standards, including Cobit, ITIL and NIST. · Able to manage large complex group-wide projects; prioritize and evaluate alternative project strategies; present & justify proposals to group management; provide leadership; organize multi-function project teams. · Consensus builder -- Manages expectations, understands business to address needs, defines impact of project changes/services, defines project & service delivery standards to ensure high quality deliverables. · Experience managing penetration and audit test remediation projects. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to interact & negotiate across WMC functional groups. · Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead using influence and persuasive argument. · Financial services experience is also highly desired. · Proficiency with MS Excel. · Well versed in Security tools and defense in depth approach. · Flexibility in dealing with rapidly changing project demands. · Ability to lead highly technical people in a supportive manner. · This position will be located in our Marlborough, MA office. · Bachelor degree required, masters preferred. Description: Position Title ::Project Manager, Information Security Summary :: Due to the number and complexity of Info Sec projects and ever increasing threat vectors there is the need for an experienced professional project management role. This role is critical in coordinating cross functionally within IT generally, and especially with the Networking and Windows teams. This individual will be responsible for the preparation and maintenance of all Information Security project plans; for tracking the progress of the various sub projects; and for preparation of periodic reports for senior management on project progress. Integral to the role, will be overseeing and forecasting resource requirements. Info Sec Projects :: Information Security is currently deploying a number of enterprise level security tools, and is in the process of remediating security gaps. This roll will project manage current projects as well as assist in planning the Info Sec three year roadmap. ResponsibilitiesActivities will include: · Preparation of project plans. · Resource estimation and allocation · Preparation and publication of meeting notes and/or minutes. · Review and monitoring of project plans and milestones. · Preparation of summary and presentation materials for senior management. · Coordination with other groups and efforts. · Budgetary review and participation.
