Please find the requirement below and let me know your interest.. *POSITION* *Sr Network Engineer* *Location: Vista, CA* *Duration: 3-6 months* *Contract to Hire position* *GC/Citizen/EAD only* *Job description* This position is responsible for the Global Messaging Infrastructure for all divisions and all email servers. This person will be the administrator of the Microsoft Exchange Environment globally and will be responsible for all aspects of the messaging environment including maintenance, upgrades, performance, backups and disaster recovery. This person will work with other IT Teams to setup and systems and applications that interface with Exchange. · Manage the application of software upgrades, security patches and planned maintenance of Exchange 2003 / 2007. · Responsible for communicating all messaging performance degradation to management. · Develop and maintain technical documentation for Messaging environment. · Maintain strict change control of messaging infrastructure. · Measure capacity and performance trends to determine long-term needs. · Provide systems metrics, root cause analysis and proactive monitoring. · Create, test and update disaster recovery plans. · Provide other technical services as necessary for the successful completion of projects. · Provide 24/7/365 support. · Backup Blackberry administrator, ensuring integration with email server. · Backup Windows Mobile Device administrator. · Work order and problem ticket resolution and tracking via Service Desk Express. *Qualifications* · BS in Computer Science or computer related field of study and MCSE or comparable experience required. · 5+ years’ experience as an Exchange Administrator 2000 / 2003 / 2007 in an enterprise environment. · A minimum of 10 years’ experience in IT is preferred. · 3+ years’ experience with RIM Blackberry Enterprise Server administration. · Thorough and complete knowledge of the Microsoft Exchange (2000, 2003 and 2007) application in an enterprise-level clustered environment as well as operating systems from the Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000 and 2003 series and Microsoft Active Directory in a 24x7x365 production environment. · Working knowledge with DNS, WINS, DHCP. · Knowledge of enterprise level Exchange backups/restores.
