The projects will vary from test data generators, to code deployment tools, to systems management, to monitoring and diagnostics. You will scour the net for existing tools, build your tools, or combine tools to get done what needs to be done. Our current tech stack includes apache, tomcat, and Oracle hosted in RackSpace and Digital Ocean. Our current tool set includes Jenkins, BitBucket, JUnit, SoapUI, Selenium, JMeter, LoadRunn, Jira, and several others. *Must haves*: · 4+ years’ experience with *development of automation and testing tools* is required. Knowledge of more advanced testing methodologies, such as model based testing, is a plus · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical field · Strong understanding of *object oriented programming concepts* and design patterns. Solid design and development skills in *Java* · Strong understanding of *REST and SOAP* based Web Services. · Experience with *JUnit, TestNG, or SoapUI* tools · Good scripting skills in *Perl, Python, or Ruby*. · Must have hands on experience with *Shell scripting* · Must have experience working on a *Linux/Unix environment* · Strong knowledge of *Databases and SQL*.
