Title: Voice Tester posted on 2014-08-06 14:00:41 Job Description:*Voice Tester* Philadelphia, PA Long term Contract Job Requirements: Senior Testing Engineer - quality assurance Voice core network. Lead and participate in *voice network integration testing* efforts in the Commercial Voice program, work with cross functional teams to develop Test Strategy, Test Plans and Test Cases; configure lab environment, troubleshooting network behaviors, and facilitate end-to-end network testing and quality management. REQUIRED § Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in a computer science, engineering discipline or equivalent industry experience. § 7+ years of experience in a multi-product, multi-vendor network integration environment in telecom. § Expert level experience with *Broadworks* architecture. Must be familiar with the different network elements that compose the Broadworks VOIP platform. § In-depth strong working knowledge of SIP/SDP and TCP/IP. § In-depth knowledge on Acmepacket Session Border Controllers 4250, 4500, & 9200 models. § Working knowledge of various Adtran CPE products (Total Access & Netvanta models) § Strong knowledge of Diameter protocol & its use in establishing Quality of Service for VOIP calls as well as its implementation in IMS architecture. • *Adtran* operating system is required • Knowledge of *VLAN, VPN*, and networking concept is required • Knowledge of *SS7 and ISDN PRI* is required § Solaris/Linux/Unix operating systems installation and configuration is required § Working experience with HPQC / ALM or other similar test management tool § Strong oral and written communications skills § Highly productive quick learner that seeks and accepts challenges. § Excellent team player with Can-Do attitude and works well under pressure PREFERRED § Hands-on experience on performing software & patch upgrades on different Broadworks servers § Knowledge of Hosted and Centrex network solution § Knowledge of Edgewater Networks products (Edgemarc 4550, Edgeview). § Working experience with Polycom Soundpoint & VVX IP phones § Familiarity with Ciena Service Delivery Switches 311v, 3930, 3916. § Understanding of Metro Ethernet networks. § Experience in Load testing using tools such as ABACUS, SAGE, IXIA and JDSU HST-3000 test sets. § Understanding of voice mail systems and unified communications § Understanding of the PacketCable Multimedia method of Quality of Service. § Experience with Arris eMTA products.
