BSM experience should include SiteScope, End User Management (EUM), Business Process Manager (BPM), Real User Manager (RUM), OMI-Event Console, Service Level Manager (SLM), and MyBSM. 7 years of expeirence. We are seeking an experienced HP Tools Monitoring Engineer / Analyst for a long team role supporting a large federal agency in downtown Washington, DC. *All candidates MUST be able to obtain a Public Trust.* The HP Tools Monitoring Engineer / Analyst will be responsible for the configuration, optimization, and operation of tools that monitor the IT enterprise of a large federal customer. This IT enterprise includes the hosting environment and all operating systems, applications, databases. It also includes the network environment and all routers, switches, and networking devices. Output from the monitoring system provides actionable, accurate, real-time status of systems, applications, and networks in support of SLA management, performance reporting, and corporate dashboards. The monitoring system must also provide trend analysis for strategic planning and resource management. This position is responsible for configuring and maintaining all components of the monitoring system and all the components that make up the monitoring system. *Qualifications:* •BS in related field and *7 years related experience.* •Must have experience with *HP Business Service Manager (BSM) and HP Network Node Manager (NNMi) formerly HP Openview*. •BSM experience should include SiteScope, End User Management (EUM), Business Process Manager (BPM), Real User Manager (RUM), OMI-Event Console, Service Level Manager (SLM), and MyBSM. •Knowledge of ITIL principles and practices. •Cisco Works experience is desired.
