*POSITION*

*SAS Programmer*

*Location: Detroit, MI (locals or nearby)*

*Duration: 12+ months*

*$32/hr on C2C*

*F2F interview is required*

·                Provide technical and analytical support for the Revenue
Management Risk Adjustment (RMRA) program Release 2.0 as it relates to the
Commercial ERA Sandbox including:

·         o   *Responsible for the analysis and implementation of RMRA
Release 2.0 Commercial ERA Sandbox related projects*

·         o   *o   Responsibility includes the analysis of database
configuration and update requests*

·         o   *o   Develops and oversees Sandbox improvement initiatives as
they relate to RMRA and ERA operations and serves as liaison between RMRA,
ERA and all other functional areas within organization in an effort to
identify and resolve operational implications as they relate to RMRA
Release 2.0 initiatives*

·         o   Analyze and resolve complex issues related to data (provider,
membership, claims, etc.)

·         o   Identify root cause and recommend solutions to RMRA Release
2.0 Commercial ERA Sandbox data issues.

·         o   Perform data extracts to identify data discrepancies.

·         o   Identify defects in the technical solutions for RMRA Release
2.0 Commercial ERA Sandbox projects and track resolution to defects.

·         o   Identify enhancements to technical solutions, write up
enhancements and track enhancements through the development process.

·         o   Develop procedures/controls and provide recommendations for
the ongoing improvement of the related processes

·         §  Identify and execute process improvements in the loading and
extracting of data from the Commercial ERA Sandbox

·         o   Develop and improve workflows and business processes.

·         o   Identify changes to policies and processes to improve quality
and timeliness and decrease operational costs.

·         o   Provide BCBSM Standard documentation as follows:

·         §  Data models

·         §  Process flows

·         §  Desk levels

·         o   Other related duties or special projects as assigned.

·         o   Nice to Have: Healthcare Knowledge

REQUIRED SKILLS:

·         SAS

·         SQL

·         Oracle

·         SQL Server

·         Data Marts

·         Schemas

·         Indexing tables
