*Job Description*
- Role Description: In need of a Vertica resource that can
create/Update Logical & physical data models and database designs with
changes. Generate, configure, and optimize the performance of the Vertica
databases. Operate and support the Vertica database. Provide database
maintenance activities Monitor database logs for potential problems. Verify
on a daily basis that database backups have completed successfully.
Document benchmarks and procedures needed to optimize performance.
- Skill requirements:
- Vertica Developer with 7+ years of successful track record in all
aspects of the project development lifecycle in the Data Warehouse/
Business Intelligence space. This results-driven individual will be
developing and designing various Vertica Scripts, Projections,
Shell & ETL
scripts
- Teradata
- Advanced hands on experience with Keynote, OmniPlan, MS Project,
Excel, Word
