*Role: Teradata Developer* *Location: Franklin Lakes, NJ* Duration: 12+ Months Contract Rate: Competitive *Duties:* · Full lifecycle application development. · Design, code and debug complex software applications. · Perform software analysis, risk analysis, reliability analysis. · Participate in software modeling and simulation. · Integrate new software solutions with existing systems. Mandatory Skills: · 8+ years of experience in strong Teradata and SQL, UNIX, Teradata Utilities · Needs hands on experience in Teradata utilities - Teradata TPump, Fastload, Multiload, FastExport and BTEQ · Must have experience developing, testing and implementing Teradata Teradata, TPump, Fastload, Multiload, FastExport, BTEQ scripts, DML and DDL; as well as Unix scripts · Strong SQL Development skills are necessary · Must be familiar with Abinitio and Informatica (ETL) · Experience in developing and setting up batch jobs as well as experience in Reporting Tools. · Should have strong knowledge with relational databases · Must have the ability to analyze functional needs and come up with technical design of quality technical solutions · Must be familiar with creation of Technical Design Documents as well as creating, documenting, and implementing unit test plans, scripts and test procedures · Must be able to work in a team environment and also independently. · Strong communication skills are necessary Desired Skills: · Knowledge of the Healthcare Domain is a plus. · Should be comfortable in both a Unix and Windows environment *K.M.
