Please find the requirement below and let me know your interest.. *POSITION* *Business Analyst* *Austin, TX* *12 months +* *Phone & Skype* *Client :: TX with Texas Department of Public Safety* · Writing concise and effective User Stories, NOT Use Cases · Define precise and accurate User Story acceptance criteria that will be used by developers, automation test frameworks and by product owners to insure that product owner intent is effectively captured · Gather requirements for IT development projects by conducting interviews, work flow analysis, process analysis, and observation sessions · Evaluate information from multiple sources and help distinguish user requests from user needs · Interface with all levels of internal clients and analyzing current business and software development processes · Facilitate and clarify customer business needs and translating them into application and operational requirements · Foster Agile principles and methods for requirement gathering · Facilitate Agile rapid and meaningful releases *Minimum Requirements:* 8 yrs - Agile/Scrum expertise 8 yrs - Demonstrate ability to successfully perform the various aspects of the Analyst role across multiple, complex system implementation with custom and 3rd party applications. 8 yrs - Experience with structured development methodology with preferred Agile/Scrum methodology in a product owner role. 8 yrs - Advanced analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with proactive customer service skills. 8 yrs - Experience with basic project management skills with advanced communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts between business customers and technical project team. 8 yrs - Experience performing end-user interviews, leading requirements gathering sessions, and User Acceptance Testing 8 yrs - Must have exceptional soft skills, including the ability to speak to both technical and business concerns 8 yrs - Experience multi-tasking, managing priorities and mentoring/directing others. 8 yrs - Experience with relational databases and queries. 8 yrs - Combined technical and functional business experience 8 yrs - Recent BA work with software/web development experience in an Agile/Scrum environment. Strong - Teamwork skills Preferences: 4 yrs - Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Computer Science.
