POSITION *Data Analysts * *Richardson, TX (LOCALS ONLY)* *6+months* *55/hr * *F2F required* *Position Description:* This position is responsible for working on multiple project tasks in support of the design, implementation, and maintenance of analytic solutions; supporting end-to-end analysis development, management, and delivery; interfacing between various business and technical teams to compile requirements and design solutions; providing technical leadership to the team; work closely with customers to build relationships; and continuously gaining a deeper understanding of relevant data and processes to build analytic solutions to meet business needs. Primary tasks of this position are compilation and analysis of numerical information to produce IT consumable information. Possess strong understanding of the relationship between data, systems and impacts Two years experience as a data analyst using a formal software development lifecycle. Proficient in cross-platform data mining Ability to Interface with SQL server specifically using Access data projects Ability to perform Data Analysis and manipulation of large files in Windows and UNIX environments Experience using Microsoft SQL Database experience, Data Modeling Tools, Data Mining tools, J2EE and SOA expertise UML experience, (Use Cases and Activity Diagrams). Possess a solid working knowledge of XML, XMLNS, XML Schemas and DTDs, XSL, XSLT, XPath, Web Services Ablity to model from conceptual/logical to physical/ data base design - preferably DB2 and SQL Server Expert use of Microsoft Office tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
