Please find the requirement below and let me know your interest.. *POSITION* *Sr. Cisco Network Engineer* *9-month Contract* *Raleigh, NC* *$60/hour c2c. * Position Summary This position is a senior Cisco network engineer, and will support the data network infrastructure for NCDOT across 530+ locations. This support will include designing, documenting, deploying and supporting LAN and WAN network equipment, with a focus on access, distribution, core and data center LAN services. This staff must be a senior network engineer with operational experience deploying and supporting data networking in a large and complex environment. Experience with Cisco access and distribution LAN switching products supporting data and VOIP, as well as data center class products such as Nexus are required. This staff will be part of a team of network engineers supporting a mixed environment of Ayaya (formerly Nortel Enterprise) LAN equipment, Riverbed, and Meraki products. The primary purpose of this position is to provide senior level Cisco LAN expertise for access, distribution and data center deployments to augment the existing teams expertise in other product sets and design future state solutions.
