Please send your available matching candidates on ke...@riderconsultinginc.com Role : Cassandra Technical Architect/ Lead Location : Houston,TX Duration : Long Term · Person will assume role of Cassandra technical Architect/Lead to perform: • Data modeling • Cassandra Database adapter design & development using .NET, Java and CQL. • Help with Cassandra Deployments and performance optimizations using DataStax and other tools • Person shall be hand-on in Cassandra, CQL and .NET and Java. Java is used for writing to the Cassandra database via Storm) while .NET is used for querying. Cassandra will be deployed on Linux cluster, so person should be comfortable managing Cassandra on Linux. Linux OS administration is generally done by Infrastructure team. · General awareness of other Big data technologies like Kafka, Storm, and HBase (on Hadoop) will be desired. · End to end implementation of at least one medium/large Big Data project using Cassandra is required. · Person should be able to work with Customer and Wipro Architects to understand the Solution Requirements and help customer with design and implementation of the project. Solution Building Block for Cassandra is already in place, however it needs to be detailed and refined for actual implementation. · Knowledge of Upstream and WITSML standard is nice to have. Thanks.
