*.Job Description:*This Dallas based industry leader has an immediate 12+ month contract opening for a Java Developer with experience working in database projects. Currently, this team has a Mainframe Application run in IDMS that they are attempting to retire. Looking for a Java Developer who can support the existing Mainframe System as well as track the application. Will be re-writing the entire application into JavaScript by using Java, Spring-Gemfire (in order to track the memory and data in Mainframes). The ideal candidate would have a mix of experience within about 75% Java and 25% Mainframe. *Requirements:* • Must be well-experienced working on MVS-Mainframe as well as a strong *Java Developer/Programmer with JavaScript, JSON, WebServices (specifically RESTful and SOAP).* • Experience with Gradle, GIT, or Stash would be preferred. *Education:* • BS/BA, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, and/or equivalent formal training or work experience. .
