This position will solely focus on ensuring *Splunk is operating efficiently. * *Tasks will include:* • Upgrading Splunk whenever there is a new release. • Setting up Splunk Forwarding for new application tiers introduced into the environment. • Identifying bad searches/dashboards and partnering with the creators to improve performance. • Optimizing the *Splunk setup* • Creating new *Splunk Applications / Dashboards* *Position Overview:* *Responsibilities/Deliverables that the resource will be responsible for:* *The same as the project description:* • Upgrading Splunk whenever there is a new release. • Setting up Splunk Forwarding for new application tiers introduced into the environment. • Identifying bad searches/dashboards and partnering with the creators to improve performance. • Optimizing the Splunk setup • Creating new Splunk Applications / Dashboards. *What would a normal day for this position look like??* *This is a brand new position on our team.
