*Description: *
Perform software development and design activities to support the client's
Data base applications and ensuring the highest software standards.
*Skills/Experience:*
Must have 5+ years of experience in Cognos Admin
Very strong experience in T-SQL, SQL Store procdures, Data analysis
Advanced TSQL Skills
Experience with upgrading Cognos or Cognos 7 series suite Installation
Cognos Administration - publishing report , Publishing cubes, upfront,
understanding of macros & security
Impromptu administrator - for maintaining a catalog to writing a report
Transformer - from creating a source for the cube to creating cube and
publishing
Powerplay - how to connect to report to a cube & have automatic update
of the report
Command understanding- how to use command file to get cognos cubes &
reports to run on a schedule
Trouble shooting & resolve cognos related issues
Skills on SQL server . TSQL Skills , SSIS DTS1
Advanced Performance and Tuning Skills
Strong Data Analysis and Design Skills
