*Job Title                      :  **PeopleSoft Technical Consultant with
North America Payroll*

*Location                      :  **Houston, TX*

*Duration                     :  **1 Year contract*



*Description:*



*REQUIRED SKILLS*

·         Minimum of 7+ years PeopleSoft technical  experience

·         PeopleTools 8.49 or higher

·         Strong knowledge of programming tools such as: PeopleTools,
PeopleCode, Integration Broker, Component Interface, Excel to CI, SQR, SQL,
PS Query, Application Engine, XML Publisher etc.

·         Act as the HRIS technical lead/architect to ensure that HRIS
ecosystem and integrations conform to Best practices

·         Experience in PeopleSoft Security, Approval Workflow Engine(AWE)
& Self-service modules(MSS, ESS)

·         Experience in SOA or other technologies to rationalize
integrations between HR, Payroll and internal applications and 3rd party
business partners

·         Experience with analytical tools including PeopleSoft XML
publisher, report designer etc.

·         Good hands on experience in Customizations in HR area

·         Excellent communication / presentation / verbal and written
communication skills

·         Should be able to drive customer discussions independently.



*Job Description*

·         Candidate will work on client engagements working on
customizations, building interfaces, reports etc.

·         Act as the HRIS technical lead/architect to ensure that HRIS
ecosystem and integrations conform to Best practices

·         Pro-actively manage scope, deliverables, risks, issues, etc.
while collaborating with HRIS business partners

·         Working with delivery team on providing customer advantage
solutions, creating and building technical documentation, such as technical
designs, assist functional group in creating in the functional design
documents

·         Manage mid-size projects while engaging key stakeholders,
managing scope, issues, risks, etc

·         Work directly with vendors on system issues, patches, upgrades,
downtimes, etc. to provide excellent support and proactively communicate to
users

·         Will demonstrate a thorough knowledge of key critical integration
touch points between HCM modules and other PS Applications

·         Produce appropriate documentation and notification for changes to
production systems or fixes to production problems

·         Responsible for testing, configuring, and documenting system
upgrades, enhancements and other backend system development

·         Will assist in all types of testing such as : functional testing,
unit testing, system testing, and User acceptance testing

·         Create and run statistical reports and other ad-hoc reports

·         Investigate operational or systematic problems and provide
resolution using advanced analytical skills and tools as necessary

·         Ensure quality standards are met
