Direct Client Role: .Net Developer Location: NY Duration: Around 6 months Interview: Face to Face. SCOPE OF SERVICES: A Web Developer/.NET Programmer with heavy SQL application development experience is needed to accomplish the following on DCAS’ EC3 system: o Develop .Net User Interfaces for new subsystems (e.g., Vouchering, Budgeting, Renewables). DELIVERABLES: For at least 2 of the above subsystems, complete user interface for inputting data; procedural manual, and reports. o Create/modify GUIs to enable business users to collect and modify data. o Automate complex business processes and create GUIs for users to interact with the workflow. o Create documentation of all areas of the system. o Develop/modify dashboards and reports to allow users to see different facets of the data. o Develop integration modules to interface with existing systems. o Create/modify SQL tables and stored procedures to accommodate the data changes. MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: o At least six (6) years of satisfactory full-time software experience in designing, programming, debugging, maintaining, implementing, and enhancing computer software applications. o Strong experience in developing n-tier architecture applications using WCF, Web API and MVC/ASP.Net Web Forms o Strong background in .NET Technologies. (C# 5.0 or greater, ASP.NET 4.5, MVC 4 or greater, Entity Framework 5.0 or greater) o Expert knowledge and experience working with Microsoft technologies such as Visual Studio 2013, SQL Server Management Studio, Team Foundation Server o Expert knowledge and experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, AngularJS, jQuery, etc.) o Strong SQL programming skills; crystal report (2008 or better) writing experience o Knowledge and experience with MS SQL Server relational database technologies. DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: o Familiarity with emerging web technologies and/or recommended standards and practices.
