*Role: Data Analyst* *Location: Deerfield, IL* *Duration:* *6 Months* *Job Description:* • SAS, PL/SQL, Oracle, DB2, Microsoft Office Independently develop SAS code for data analysis and solution development with proper controls and assumptions given the business context. • Work closely with customers, internal and external, to understand a dataset, the source of the data, definition of data elements, and quality of data being captured or analyzed. • Work with closely with functional experts and provide analytical solutions. • Prepare timely reports to highlight discrepancies in a dataset and accordingly suggest business rules to manage them. • Provide analytical expertise and develop data analysis tools to assist in understanding and solving business problems • Ability to manage multiple activities in a deadline-oriented environment; highly organized and flexible. • Strong research skills with an attention to detail. • Strong listening, verbal and written communication skills. • Strong Microsoft Office skills – Excel, Word and Power Point. • Ability to explore, analyze and utilize various software platforms from an end user perspective. • Experience in analysis, basic statistical analysis. • Ability to work independently and jointly in unstructured environments in a self-directed way.
