Duration: 6 Months *=============================* *JOB DESCRIPTION:* Engage the business and technical personnel responsible for various Unix Server based solutions to development requirements for new deployments of server infrastructure. Perform server builds, quality checks, production rollout and decommissioning activities. Manage to a schedule of project deliverables across the organization. *TOP THREE TECHNICAL SKILLS:* · RHEL Server 5/6/7 (5+ years) · VMWare Virtual Server Provisioning (5+ years) · Unix Server Optimization and Tuning (5+ years) *REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:* · Demonstrated experience planning and executing client / server architectural implementations · Demonstrated experience providing client / server infrastructure guidance and thought leadership · 5 years experience working with virtualization technologies including the following: server virtualization, desktop virtualization, Citrix, VMware, MS Hyper-V · 5 years experience with VMware enterprise features (DRS, HA, vMotion, vCB, SRM, Update Manager) · 5 years experience working with blade and rack mount server hardware · 5 years experience with design/build/support of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.x,6 and 7, including Satellite Server, SUSE · Proficient in performance monitoring, capacity planning, virtualization analysis, and consolidation activities. · Experience with scripting / automating manual and tedious tasks · Ability to thrive in a constantly changing environment · Demonstrated experience in the creation and management of technical documentation · Collaborative in approach to working with a team · Highly creative in approach to problem solving · Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly · Ability to work independently with little supervision *PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:* · Demonstrated experience planning and executing disaster recovery and business continuity implementations · Experience with enterprise storage solutions such as EMC VMAX, VPLEX, and XTREMIO · Experience with networking technologies such as Cisco Nexus routers and switches · Experience with F5 BIG-IP solutions · Experienced in the creation and implementation of private cloud strategies · Multi-Tenant architecture · Metering and Chargeback · Dynamic capacity provisioning · Self-Service virtual machine requests · Highly automated and available · Experience with Puppet and other Automation Technologies · Experience working with application virtualization technologies such as Citrix XenApp, VMWare ThinApp, or MS App-V *EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:* · Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred, though not required · 5 years of relevant technology work experience required · Industry certifications such as RHEL, SUSE, VMware, Cisco, Ctirix are preferred though not required ==================================== *In case you are not looking for the change at this point of time please refer your colleagues, Friends etc.* *Regards* *Deepak* *United Software Group Inc.* 565 Metro Place S.
