*Position = Java DeveloperLocation = Quincy , MA ( Local ONLY)Duration = 6 -12 + months* *Local candidates only F2F interview * *Responsibilities* Develop / enhance /review applications and code in accordance to SDLC methodology, industry best practices, and departmental policies and standards Analyze business and functional requirements in collaboration with the Application Architect and functional leads and document technical solutions Develop, test and debug integration components in accordance with business and architectural requirements. Contribute to the resolution of defects. Provide support to testing teams. Present designs and code at walk-throughs Initiate and conduct unit testing of integration solutions and support system and performance testing as required Provide analytical and problem solving skills to help support the development process and to ensure that the project deliverables are met according to specifications. Must be self-managed, responsive, and dedicated to exceptional customer support *Skills and Requirements* 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java environment (*Java, J2EE, Spring, Eclipse, Tomcat etc)* 3+ years of experience designing, *developing web services and SOA. *Strong background in Java / J2EE / XML / SOA technologies. Web Services development experience using *XML, XSD, SOAP and WS-* Specification. *Knowledge on healthcare processing, HL7 formatting and Rhapsody development tool a plus. Proficient in SQL, Javascript, jQuery, JSF and other web development. Strong background in REST/JSON. Strong knowledge of relational database design concepts. Strong database design skills, Experience with SQL programming in Oracle 11g/10g.
