*POSITION*

*BA with Mortgage exp*

*Fremont, CA*

*6+months*



Works on front end team as an analytical problem solver. In addition to
understanding the importance of accurate data entry, retrieval and
reporting, analyst must also take initiative to identify and solve
problems. Must have an innate number sense with a strong ability to
recognize and question data that may not be accurate. Excellent
communications skills are essential, with a strong “customer-service”
orientation. Act as the subject matter expert for all aspects of a business
rules management system and all fees related to title insurance. Act as a
strategic business partner, liaison between the user community, and
technical applications development staff (may include offshore staff).
Follow system problems to resolution to ensure customer processes run
smoothly. Document rate rule requirements, business processes, training
procedures, standard operating procedures, project status, etc..

   - Receives new data and/or revisions, enters data, routes updated
   information to appropriate staff or departments.
   - Receives and interprets a variety of fee data, organizes and completes
   data entry and data retrieval tasks accurately and efficiently.
   - Manages configuration rules for all premiums and fees related to title
   insurance in a business rules management system.
   - Helps to maintain and verify rate/fee data, and assures that all
   necessary documents have been obtained for compliance/auditing purposes
   - Troubleshoots data entry/calculation issues/ tasks and reports for
   accuracy, to identify problems and track down corrections as necessary.
   - Helps to keep Product Manager, and Underwriting informed of issues
   affecting deadlines and/or data quality.
   - Contacts business users to discuss data entry questions and problems
   and inform them of status
   - Work directly with business users to determine data needs and
   configuration solutions to address business needs.
   - Develops formats and procedures for entering/retrieving various types
   of data.
   - Consistently documents and maintains data issues/research, findings
   and resolution information.
   - Continually enhances end-user documentation, including business rules
   and instructional materials used internally.
   - Generates a variety of reports for multiple types of audiences.
   - Helps train users on systems in both formal and informal settings.
   - Identifies systems and operational problems and recommends solutions
   and changes to streamline procedures for data entry and reporting
   - Provides coordination/oversight of peer review of accuracy and
   completeness
   - Perform UAT testing duties as required during normal release cycles
   and client integrations/special projects

** Knowledge of Loan origination System, MISMO, XML and SQL.
** Should be expert in writing USER STORIES, USED CASED AND BRD.
** Should have very strong personality to deal with high management and the
product Sponsors and have ability to conduct meeting on his own.

*Qualifications*

   - Excellent organizational and project management skills.
   - Strong written and verbal communication skills in order to define
   business and technical parameters and lead teams.
   - Ability to prioritize tasks and multi-task throughout the course of
   the day
   - Ability to organize and complete data entry and data retrieval tasks
   accurately and efficiently
   - Ability to troubleshoot data entry and retrieval tasks and reports for
   accuracy , to identify problems and track-down corrections as necessary
   - Identifies problems, researches alternatives, prepares presentations,
   drives solutions, tests to confirm, gains consensus, and implements
   solutions for issues that arise in the FACC
   - Requires business mathematics skills to compute sums and compile
   statistics
   - Solid working knowledge of standard features and functions of multiple
   applications/modules to field, analyze and resolve customer issues/problems.
   - Ability to set up electronic spreadsheets and then create charts and
   graphs that summarize the data from the spreadsheet in usable ways
   - Ability to teach others through both “just in time” answers to
   questions, and in more formal “workshop” settings.
   - Understanding of BRMS (Business Rules Management Software) tools.
   - Strong understanding of Title Insurance and Escrow Rates and Fees.

Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
5+ years of directly related experience.
