*Role: Network Security SME*
*Location: Milwaukee, WI*
*Job Description:*
Up to 10 years’ experience in network security including design,
implementation and subsequent administration and management of network
security products including Firewalls, Intrusion Prevention systems, DDOS
etc.
Hard skills –
Experience in performing network security design for medium to large
customers including firewalls, intrusion prevention appliances, vpn etc.
which would include understanding the current network architecture and
designing firewall placement and throughput requirements, working with OEM
and customer for sizing the right appliance etc. in the customer data center
Experience in providing consulting services around VPN migration and
consolidation
Solid hands on experience in Firewall and VPN administration, management
across leading OEM’s such as Checkpoint, Cisco and Juniper. Juniper and
Aruba experience would be added advantage
Able to handle large customer engagements independently and with minimal
intervention from customer network architects
Soft skills –
a) Excellent written and communication skills
b) Good documentation and presentation skills
Understand the current network architecture in the customer environment and
provide recommendation/design strategy for migrating the eol Juniper
infrastructure to new VPN ( Aruba or F5 )
Develop the VPN migration approach and sign-off with appropriate
stakeholders in customer environment
Perform POC for F5 and Aruba in customer environment
Provide recommendations post POC on suitable product for the environment
Perform pilot testing and sign off with customer prior to production
rollout
Post production issue resolution.
