Roles: Data Architect
Job Description:
- Develop enterprise data governance and policies, including
appropriate data stewardship, data audit requirements
- Work with DBA, Source System Analyst, Business Analyst to get
end to end vision
- Understand , identify gaps, limitations or constraints in
existing Data Model, data warehouse
- Develop strategy, design architecture or framework to extract,
acquisition of data or data integration from heterogeneous source system
applications.
- Design/Build Logical Data Warehouse to meet end to end
requirements
- Design/Build OLAP, Multidimensional Data Warehouse, Top Down,
Bottom Up approach
- Design Transformation Rules , Source to Target Data Mappings etc
- Work with DBA’s to convert the Logical Design Data warehouse to
Physical Data Warehouse
- Optimize Data Warehouse Design
- Work with DBA, BA to facilitate technical discussion on data
points and file layout etc
