*Role: Infrastructure Project Manager (AIX OS Upgrade)*
*Location: Work Location: Greensboro, NC*
*Job description: *
This role is responsible for leading a project team on a series of
infrastructure migration project. With experience in AIX, LINUX. The
candidate will have overall performance responsibility for managing scope,
cost, schedule, and contract deliverables.
Skills required include: planning, tracking, change control, financial
management and issue/risk management.\
Excellent communication skills
Expert & hands-on knowledge on Microsoft Project Plan
Experience in running large Migration programs and multi-vendor teams
Infrastructure experience is a must (Datacenter/ desktop upgrade, server
upgrade,etc.)
Expert & hands-on knowledge of various IBM P-series hardware
Expert & hands-on knowledge on trouble shooting AIX 6.x and 7.x OS
In depth knowledge of IBM NIM and alternate disk migrations
Experience in HMC Upgrade
In depth knowledge of CSM/NIM functionality
Very good understanding of cluster technologies like HACMP and VCS.
Very good understanding of Virtual and SAN environments
Certifications:
1. PMP Certification or equivalent
2. IBM Certified Advance Technical Expert in AIX
