*Position: Security EngineerLocation: Fort Worth, TXDuration: 6-12 Months* JD: Education, Experience, and Certification • Bachelors degree in telecommunications, computer science, information technology or equivalent experience • 3+ years experience in information security discipline with focus on network security theory and practice • Security related certifications such as Security+ or CISSP are beneficial but not required Required Skills • Must have strong understanding of Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) technologies • Must have 2+ year of direct hands on experience with IBM Qradar or similar SIEM product • Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices • Working knowledge of firewall platforms such as Cisco, Checkpoint, Juniper • Working knowledge of Network IDS / NIPS platforms such as Cisco, IBM, McAfee • Possess effective verbal and written communications as well as strong organizational skills • Must be capable of working well independently as well as in a highly collaborative team environment Desired Skills • Strong knowledge of centralized logging and its security implications • Linux Administration • Strong knowledge in system, UNIX, Windows, and network device administration Job Description Candidate will support and develop Client's IBM Qradar implementation at client location. The primary objective includes evolving the solution to incorporate additional log sources.
