*Position: Python Developer* *Location: San Antonio, TX* Day to Day Responsibilities of this Position and Description of Project: • Collaborate with a small team of engineers to build out this new product offering for Rackspace. • Focus on building great user experiences using HTML, CSS, and Javascript first but don’t stop there. • Build the backend application platform and deployment pipeline, using automated testing and continuous delivery practices to rapidly deliver value to customers. • Building out various features and functionalities • Building out API’s REQUIRED SKILLS: 1. JavaScript or Python – minimum of 3 years’ experience 2. Rest based API’s 3. Computer Science background or equivalent experience 4. Experience building server side web applications with standard patterns like MVC or MVVM. 5. Experience building web applications. 6. Experience using Javascript, HTML, and CSS 7. Experience working with common fronted technologies like ReachJS, Angular, Ember, or Backbone. PREFERRED SKILLS: 1. React, Angular, Express 2. Python 3. Usage of AWS cloud environments to deploy applications and related tooling like Beanstalk, Ansible or Salt. 4. Cloud deployment/DevOps experience 5. Automated testing/unit testing 6. Experience working on a distributed team. 7.
