   Responsibilities

    The Risk Data Architect II (RDAII) is involved in the gapping and
   mapping of the flow of data in source systems, the Risk data warehouse,
   cMDM and data marts.  The RDAII participates in the design and
   documentation of complex mapping activities of the warehouse and database
   information.  This role provides support to warehouse users under direction
   and supervision of peers, senior data architects and other documentation
   specialists.  The RDAII assists with designing, implementing and supporting
   solutions that meet business requirements related to data mapping of
   customer master data, data warehouses, data marts or operational data
   stores.  The RDAII works with application architects to document complex
   source system data elements and to develop a well defined data sourcing
   architecture to support metadata lineage projects and risk data analysis
   projects.



   ·         The RDAII collaborates with vendors and internal partners as
   needed.

   ·         Within this role, the person will be responsible for the
   following:

   ·         Data Gapping & Mapping Functions – Participate in the
   sourcing, gapping, mapping, implementation, and documentation of data from
   disparate wholesale, retail, non-loan and operational source systems into
   an integrated data warehouse, data mart or operational data store

   ·         Gap data from source systems, data warehouse, customer MDM
   (cMDM) and data marts

   ·         Map data from source systems, data warehouse, customer MDM
   (cMDM) and data marts

   ·         Develop data mapping, including sourcing extraction,
   transformation, and loading (ETL)

   ·         Leverage data mapping deliverables as inputs to metadata
   processes and frameworks

   ·         Create supporting documentation, such as metadata and diagrams
   of entity relationships, business processes, and process flow

   ·         Collaborate with the test team to thoroughly test the data
   mapping requirements

   ·         Develop and implement data extraction mapping documents from
   disparate Risk systems including wholesale, retail, operational and
   non-loan source systems

   ·         Verify all layers of mapping documentation to ensure accuracy,
   identifying errors and making corrections

   ·         Develop or maintain standards, such as structure or
   nomenclature for the design of data mapping elements, such as data mapping
   architectures, models, documentation, and databases

   ·         Monitor mapping work to ensure accuracy, the inclusion of new
   or changed information, or compliance with rules and regulations

   ·         Identify and compile database information to create mapping
   documentation in response to requests

   ·         Compile, sort and verify the accuracy of data mapping before
   it is documented

   ·         Store completed documents in appropriate locations

   ·         Develop project-specific data management plans that address
   areas such as data mapping, reporting, or transfer, and work flow processes

   ·         Generate  complex data queries based on validation checks or
   errors and omissions identified during data gapping to resolve identified
   mapping problems

   ·         Design and validate database sourcing including designing or
   testing business rules

   Production Support – Provide production support and defect resolution
   for previously mapped system sources to Risk warehouse, data mart or
   operational data store

   Assist with the modification of existing data mapping designs and data
   mapping systems

   Assist with test programs or databases to correct errors and make
   necessary modifications

   Support users and answer questions

   Support the review of project requests describing database user needs to
   estimate time and cost required to accomplish project

   Compare data with source documents or re-enter data in verification
   format to detect errors

   Identify and correct data mapping errors and report them to supervisors

   Maintain logs of mapping activities and completed work

   Resolve data mapping issues by following detailed analysis procedures
   and consulting with source system subject matter experts

   Design forms for receiving, processing, or tracking data

   Perform quality control audits to ensure accuracy, completeness, or
   proper usage of source mapping documentation and data

   Monitor work productivity or quality to ensure compliance with standard
   operating procedures

   Document work instruction manuals, data capture guidelines, or standard
   operating procedures

   Supervise the work of data management project staff

   Innovation – Identify and/or design elegant solutions to improve overall
   productivity and bring simplicity to complex business problems



    Qualifications

    Required Skills/Experience:



   ·         5-7 years of data mapping experience or equivalent

   ·         Getting Information — Observing, receiving, and otherwise
   obtaining information from all relevant sources

   ·         Documenting/Recording Information — Entering, transcribing,
   recording, storing, or maintaining information in written or
   electronic/magnetic form, using Word and Excel; working knowledge of the
   Banking Data Warehouse (BDW) model and IBM Master Data Management (MDM) for
   Customer

   ·         Processing Information — Compiling, coding, categorizing,
   calculating, tabulating, auditing, or verifying information or data

   ·         Analyzing Data or Information — Identifying the underlying
   principles, reasons, or facts of information by breaking down information
   or data into separate parts

   ·         Identifying Objects, Actions, and Events — Identifying
   information by categorizing, estimating, recognizing differences or
   similarities, and detecting changes in circumstances or events

   ·         Monitor Processes, Materials, or Surroundings — Monitoring and
   reviewing information from materials, events, or the environment, to detect
   or assess problems

   ·         Organizing, Planning, and Prioritizing Work — Developing
   specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work

   ·         Technical – Working knowledge of Aqua Data Studio or
   comparable query tool to analyze data in DB2 and Oracle

   ·         Core skills

   ·         Desire to learn emerging methods and technologies; wants to
   stay on top of latest ideas within the logical mapping design and
   development discipline

   ·         Proven leadership ability

   ·         Strong analytical and systemic thinking, problem solving skills

   ·         Strong communication (written and verbal), presentation skills

   ·         Ability to influence across organizational boundaries,
   including the ability to identify and raise issues to the proper level

   ·         Ability to make forward progress and sound decisions in
   ambiguous situations

   ·         Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects to completion
