Position - QA Test Lead
Location - Dallas, TXDuration - 6 Months Contract (Can be extended based on
performance) Mode of Interview: Telephonic

Preference: Those who have the required experience in retail domain





*STATEMENT OF WORK Job Responsibilities *

   - *Define the Test Strategy for various projects.*
   - *Develop the test plan for the tasks, dependencies and participants
   required to mitigate the risks to system quality and obtain stakeholder
   support for this plan.*
   - *Estimate and obtain management support for the time, resources and
   budget required to perform the testing.*
   - *Ensure content and structure of all Testing documents / artifacts is
   documented and maintained.*
   - *Document, implement, monitor, and enforce all processes for testing
   as per standards defined by the organization and project.*
   - *Check / Review the Test Cases documents.*
   - *Keep track of the new requirements / change in requirements of the
   Project.*
   - *Escalate the issues about project requirements (Software, Hardware,
   Resources) to Project leadership.*
   - *Organize the status meetings and send the Status Report (Daily,
   Weekly etc.) to the project team and high level management.*
   - *Facilitation of inter-team communication across many agile projects
   within an organization.*
   - *Act as the single point of contact between BSAs/Testers, business and
   vendor teams.*
   - *Track and prepare the report of testing activities like test testing
   results, test case coverage, required resources, defects discovered and
   their status, performance baselines etc.*
   - *Review various reports prepared by BSAs/Testers.*
   - *Ensure the timely delivery of different testing milestones.*
   - *Prepares / updates the metrics dashboard at the end of a phase or at
   the completion of project.*
   - *Lead, guide and monitor the analysis, design, implementation and
   execution of the test cases, test procedures and test suites.*
   - *Presenting an aggregate view of testing utilization to high level
   management.*
   - *Personal support, mentoring, and professional development for BSA/
   testers.*

*Ideal Candidate will have *

   - *Knowledge of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including
   Waterfall and Agile methodologies.*
   - *Solid understanding in Relational Database SQL, Analyzing data using
   database tools, Object Oriented Programming Concepts.*
   - *Ability to work independently with limited direction and collaborate
   with extended teams.*
   - *Ability to create Test Plans and support/lead User Acceptance
   Testing.*
   - *Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.*
   - *Experience in mentoring less experienced BAs/Testers.*
   - *Experience in working with multiple vendors as part of  solution
   implementations*
   - *Tools: MS suite, Visio, Clarity, enterprise tester, ALM, TFS, HP Load
   runner etc.*

*EXPERIENCE: *

   - *Minimum 7 years of Test Lead/Manager experience in the retail domain.*
   - *Excellent written and verbal communication skills*
   - *Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.*
   - *Traditional QA skills, including ability to create various testing
   artifacts, creation and execution of test plans, create and execution of
   test scripts and support UAT.*
   - *Ability to present and explain project specific information to
   diverse types of audiences.*
   - *Identifying process improvements and take lead on ongoing
   initiatives.*
   - *Experience in implementing software solutions in a retail
   environment, including POS implementation, Oracle RMS, ATG and/or sterling
   commerce.*

   - *Traditional QA Lead artifacts, Test Strategy documents, Test plans,
   Test Cases, Test Scripts, various reports and User Acceptance Testing
   documents etc.*


   1. *TECHNICAL SKILL SETS*


   - *Solid understanding in Relational Database SQL, Analyzing data using
   database tools, Object Oriented Programming Concepts.*

   - *Excellent written and verbal communication skills.*
