No telecommuting or remote work.* *Responsibilities:* • Install, configure, modify, upgrade, administer, tune and troubleshoot all aspects of the JDE E1 application, particularly the complex and proprietary CNC middleware layer; • Execute daily tasks around CNC including object package builds and deployments, server installs, and middleware maintenance; • Manage performance of JDE E1 components through proactive tuning and troubleshooting; • Install electronic software updates (ESUs) to keep system stable and in vendor support range; • Maintain close working relationship with Oracle’s JDE E1 support staff and find fixes to issues and best practices at the Oracle support web site; • Coordinate CNC work both orally and in writing, with a wide range of staff, from senior IT management, to junior developers, and provide knowledge transfer to JDE support staff. *Requirements:* • Experience in software engineering and/or software architecture (8+ years); • Experience as CNC Administrator of the JDE E1 application (7+ years); • Experience in senior capacity CNC role (4+ years); • Experience with logical server installation, configuration, and security workbench; • Experience installing, setting up and configuring JDE E1 environments, path codes, subsystems, Object Management Workbench (OMW) for project promotions, package builds and deployments, Object Configuration Management (OCM) Mappings, and Security Server; • Experience with multiple foundations, OMW Transfer rules, roles, subsystems, and JDE E1 application servers; • Experience programing in C++; • Experience developing, implementing and planning Disaster Recovery for JDE E1; • Four year degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or physical sciences or equivalent relevant work experience.
