I would like to touch base you regarding a job opportunity with our client, appreciate if you could go through below job detail and let me know your thoughts as soon as possible. *Reply only to [email protected] <[email protected]>* *Role: QA Test Engineer – Terminal & Point Of Sale* Location: San Jose, CA Duration: 6 months only, can extend depending on the candidate skill set Ø 3 to 5 years of work experience directly related to test engineering, preferably in the payment/transaction processing, or point of sale industry Ø Hardware/firmware testing experience, especially with terminals and payment systems Ø Knowledge of Point-of-Sale (POS) Industry and Integrated / Embedded Solutions is needed Ø Well familiar with Terminals, identify the issues in the terminals, do adk on the terminals, install apps on the terminal, login into the terminal and debug etc Ø Develops QA testing solutions / tools by designing, developing, and installing software Ø Knowledge and experience with TCP/IP, USB, serial, and/or other common forms of interface connectivity Ø Expertise in Manual Testing in Agile and Scrum model Ø Manage creation of test specifications, test processes; test schedules, test plans, test results reporting, problem reproduction/investigation and root cause analysis Ø Familiarity with commonly used quality assurance process tools used for defect-tracking and test case management Ø Good Analytical, Interpersonal and communication skills.
