*Responsibilities:* · As the Senior Database Administrator, MySQL for client, you will play a significant role in the design, implementation and maintenance of production databases and data dictionaries in compliance with application specifications. In addition, you will monitor daily database activities and overall performance, growth and tuning configurations as well as the security of the database. · Participates in the design, implementation, and maintenance of the all database environments (i.e., development, quality assurance and testing) · Monitors database security by controlling and monitoring user access · Researches, reviews and develops database designs for new projects · Creates and maintains database structures and objects · Assists with the development and execution of capacity plans. Monitors and meets established capacity plan standards · Monitors the performance and growth and prepares entities, attributes, and relationships for required transaction and data volumes · Performs root cause analysis of infrastructure problems; identifies solutions and makes recommendations; takes appropriate remedial steps towards resolution · Performs the allocation of disk storage spaces · Develops and maintains the database configuration documentation · Executes database backup and recovery strategies · Participates in implementation and maintenance of disaster recovery plans · Documents problems and actions taken to resolve the problem · Assists with task automation and process improvements, as directed · Maintains established service level agreements to meet customer expectations and quality standards *Qualifications:* *Required:* · Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future · 5+ years MySQL DBA hands on experience in versions 4.X-5.7 (MySQL forks such as MariaDB or Percona is acceptable) · Expert MySQL DBA knowledge including upgrades, backup/recovery, patching strategies/capabilities and day to day support of application development personnel · Strong understanding of MySQL performance tuning (partitioning, striping, OLAP, data warehouses, data marts and other advanced physical data modeling techniques) · Strong understanding of SQL tuning and optimization of query plans · Proven knowledge and experience in designing database schemas to align with development and business goals and objectives · Strong and proactive leadership ability · Strong communication skills with the ability to transcend the organization with appropriate levels of detail · Strong teamwork, decision-making, documentation and analytical skills *Preferred:* · Experience with no-SQL DB (Mongo) preferred · UNIX scripting skills are preferred · Experience with MySQL cluster is strongly preferred · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred *Tej* *Sr. IT Recruiter * Email : [email protected] Contact No : 614-664-7826 Gmail Id : tej.technocraft Yahoo Id : tej_technocraft Website : www.technocraftsol.com P Please consider the environment before printing. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Open Source Erp & Crm" group.
