*Position : Application System Analyst/ Developer* *Location: Washington, DC*
*Duration:** Full Time* *NEED GC AND USC* *Description:* *The Applications Systems Analyst/Developer will be a critical member of a team responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, testing, and supporting complex systems including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) functionality, COTS, and Cloud software. He/she will develop and drive technology project goals to fruition, working collaboratively with business units across the University. He/she will be responsible for project planning and scheduling, in order to ensure critical milestones are met with high quality deliverables. He/she will manage relationships among staff and academic groups across the university, including the admissions, financial aid, student accounts, and registrar’s offices, VP of graduate Studies, and various schools and academic unit. * *Educational Requirements:* *BS degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience/training. * *Minimum Requirements:* - *7+ years’ experience with business analysis, process analysis and mapping, technical design, software development, and project management* - *5+ years’ experience developing applications using the Ellucian’s Envision or Microsoft technology such as ASP.NET <http://ASP.NET>, C#, SQL Server Experience implementing multiple small and medium scale projects. * - *Excellent communication, leadership and analytical skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with all levels of management and customers * - *Strong team building skills and ability to gain cooperation and to motivate others. Proactive, results-oriented and can-do attitude* *Preferred Requirements:* - *Experience with Ellucian’s Colleague ERP development using Envision * *Additional Information:* *Availability after-hours to support staff as needed.
