*JOB DESCRIPTION:-*

Production Services is responsible for running the day to day operations of
the technology platform. Work activities specific to Production Services
roles include Problem/Incident Management, Release/Deployment, Operational
Readiness, Capacity/Availability Management, Application Monitoring,
Service Analytics and Reporting, Production Governance, Triage, Associate
Support, Change/Configuration Management, etc. The Production Services
Senior Analyst identifies possible production failure scenarios, creates
incident tickets, enhancements and/or problem tickets in ticket tracking
system, and communicates effectively with development and internal business
operations teams. Identifies vulnerabilities and opportunities for
improvement, as well as maintain metrics to help develop analysis that will
drive improvement in all areas of Production Services. Creates and enhances
administrative, operational and technical policies and procedures, adopting
best practice guidelines, standards and procedures. Takes ownership of
escalations and perform trouble shooting, analysis, research and resolution
using advanced query and programming skills. Performs analytical,
technical, and administrative work in planning, installing, designing and
supporting new and existing equipment and software under moderate
supervision. Resolves more complex issues. Consults with end users to
determine optimal configuration of equipment and applications. Works on
problems of moderate scope where analysis of situation or data requires a
review of identifiable factors. Exercises judgment within defined
procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Should have
increased awareness and exposure to basic technical principles, concepts
and techniques. Fully competent to work under general direction on complex
projects usually on specific assigned problems. Interprets, evaluates and
resolves issues pertaining to the functional operation of technology
products. Awareness of business or function for which technical support is
needed. May require guidance on more complex projects. Typically has 1-3
years experience in IT or equivalent.



*REQUIRED SKILLS:*

·         6+ years of relevant IT experience *(Production Support, SDLC-
Waterfall / Agile), Java/J2EE, OOPS, Servlets, JSP, JQuery, Ext-JS,
JavaScript, Autosys AJAX, spring, Struts, SQL/PL-SQL, SVN, Perforce, UNIX,
Core ORACLE , PLSQL.*

·         Experience in programming knowledge  on Web services development
and configuration and knowledge on deployment scripts, version
control/configuration management tools and AGILE Release methodology.

·         Exhibits a strong sense of urgency for high severity incidents.
Ability to assess the customer impact and provide tactical solutions and
proactively identify cross functional or technical issues.

·         Exhibits a strong sense of teamwork and inclusiveness. Must be a
self-starter, motivated, innovative, capable of, providing technical
solutions. Adaptability and ability to work under pressure.

·         Possesses the flexibility enough to work for extended hours and
on weekends as needed to handle high priority issues, production
recoveries, provide support to Dev & Infrastructure Releases.

·         Possesses excellent communication skills and the ability to
communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals.

·         Must be willing and able to express new ideas, concerns and
opinions directly to wider team in team meetings face-to-face and via
remote-working tools.

·         Ability to suggest and implement ideas for enhancing the customer
experience and implement best practices for cost saving.

·         Experience in Incident and problem management.

·         Ability to contribute to 1. Automation 2. Causal analysis 3.
Develop shared/common solutions.

·         Must be a Team player, and Demonstrate ability to communicate
effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals.



*DESIRED SKILLS:*

·         Exposure to Banking and financial industry.

·         ITIL certification recommended.

·         Knowledge in ETL Tools., Informatica, UNIX.

·         7+ years of relevant IT experience (SDLC- Waterfall / Agile, post
Go-Live warranty support, AutoSYS)  Proven expertise: DB2, Shell Scripting
and Unix Server experience

·         Ability to be part of Production Support Team providing front
line technical solutions, Release/deployment support, Project Governance
and related to issues.

·         Ability to assess initial severity, gather impacts, creates
tickets (REMEDY), engage necessary support teams, and escalate as necessary
to ensure timely restoration

·         Experience troubleshooting, analysis, research and resolution
using advanced query, programming skills, conduct root cause analysis

·         Experience with on call support for triaging problems,
coordinating with various support teams across the organization and
carryout activities related to incident and problem management

·         Ability to exhibit a strong sense to understand project
priorities, able to assess the customer impact, provide tactical solutions,
and able to manage, prioritize and deliver in multi-projects concurrently

·         Ability to look for areas of improvement in monitoring,
application stability, and speed of determining root cause, participate in
DR and Resiliency and identify mitigations/risk

·         Ability to communicate  with all lines of business and management
(technical and non-technical), contribute to automation, causal analysis,
develop shared/common solutions, proactively identify cross functional or
technical issues

·         Ability to suggest,  implement ideas for enhancing the customer
experience, implement best practices for cost saving,  maintain
documentation, knowledge repository and also lead team to comply to
organizational standards on documentation, project governance and data
governance

·         Flexible to work for extended hours and on weekends as needed to
handle high priority issues
