*Position: SAP MIGRATION QA LEAD* *Location: NYC, NY* *Duration: 6 Months* *Job Description:* Candidate is responsible for the independent verification and validation of the products produced by the development process. Candidate will be responsible for overseeing unit testing of the FICO, SD, and MM modules as well as end-to-end testing. Warehouse system experience would be beneficial as a majority of movements are warehouse related. Work with Subject Matter Experts (SME) to identify test cases and build out test catalog. Work with SME to create new test scripts and modify existing test scripts. Execute test scripts per the test plan, document results and update test tracker. Role will require ability to communicate and coordinate testing with external parties. Candidate will be responsible for data hand off to third parties and following up with third parties to ensure they validate data in their systems. Candidate should be familiar with how to create, modify and process IDOCs in SAP. Responsible and accountable for driving an effective and efficient test strategy for both manual and automated processes. Will work on variety of testing initiatives including; new projects, enhancement packs, major upgrades and fixes. You must demonstrate flexibility and versatility in meeting objectives and should be able to manage your workload and update management on task progress. *Basic Qualifications* • Minimum of 5+ years hands on experience with SAP systems • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience with testing methodologies, strategies, concepts, processes and tools • Minimum 2+ years of Retail experience • Strong knowledge of SAP SD and MM modules; independently able to create purchase orders, goods receipts, goods issue, delivery documents and invoices • Working knowledge of other SAP Modules such as FICO • Experience testing with 3rd parties • Able to create, modify and process IDOCs to facilitate testing • Experience developing and executing end-to-end testing • Good communication and writing skills • Candidate needs to be confident and be able to work independently • Need to interact with multiple teams to complete testing • Bachelor’s Degree *Preferred Qualifications* • 2+ years of SAP retail experience in ECC 6.0 • SAP IS-Retail experience • Experience in working with Onshore/offshore model • Knowledge of Material, Sales Order & Inventory IDOCs *Praveen TiwariUnited Software Group Inc.. 565 Metro Place South.
