*Job Details:* *Job Title : Senior **.Net Developer* *Location : **Indianapolis, IN* *Duration : 6+ Months* *Must be able to do In person Interview* *Need local candidate* *Job Duties:* The Sr. Software Engineer is directly responsible for creating deliverables associated to technical design, construction, unit test and system testing support in the delivery of Sallie Mae development projects. This position supports a large .Net web/mobile web application with multiple integration points across the enterprise. The team is a mature team with established processes and works within an established release cycle. This position may require participating in an on-call rotation. The qualified individual will possess a mix of technical skills, be curious, a continual learner with excellent collaboration skills. This individual will work with other team members and cross-functional teams to ensure the solutions delivered are of a high standard, are fit for purpose and application design, meet quality deliverable standards, as well as meeting the business objectives. In addition, the individual should have a broad understanding of various coding methodologies, related to the listed technologies, testing practices and when appropriate to apply each method. This position needs to be highly motivated and focused on completing tasks efficiently with high quality. *Mandatory Qualifications: * 5+ years of experience developing web based application software using .Net/technologies. Experience with Microsoft VB.Net and/or C# is required, C# preferred. Experience with HTML/ASP/ASP.Net development is required. Experience using JavaScript is required. Experience with Windows Server 2008 and IIS is required. Experience with XML and XSL is required. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008 is required. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment. Strong independent person with ability to work with little direction and not afraid to ask questions. *Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with Oracle is a plus. Experience with ASP.Net MVC is a plus. Experience with AJAX a strong plus. Experience with jQuery a strong plus. Experience with Web Service a plus. Experience using with unit testing tools such as Microsoft Unit Testing or NUnit is a strong plus. Experience using a mock library such as MOQ or Rhino Mock is a plus. Experience following a Continuous Integration process (CruiseControl.Net) is a plus.
