*Title: Functional Financials GL/AM*
*Location: Arlington, VA*
*Duration: 6-10 months*
*Project Description*: Our client is currently rolling out PeopleSoft
Financials globally. They operate in 30 different countries and are
shifting focus on to the European countries. They are currently on 9.1 with
a few instances of 9.0. There are no plans to upgrade until 2017.
*Day to Day Responsibilities*: Our client is in need of a strong PeopleSoft
functional GL/AM resource. They will be working closely with the Financials
team and doing hands on data conversion and data validation. This
consultant will ideally be functional with some technical expertise as well
that can analyze PeopleCode. During the European release, it will be
important to have experience with global organizations. There are specific
reports coming from these European countries that this consultant will be
dealing with. In addition, VAT and multicurrency experience is crucial
because of the client’s complex client financial record keeping.
*Required Skills:* - 8-10 years PeopleSoft Financials experience
- GL, AM experience specifically
- FSCM experience
- Data mapping, data validation
- Communication skills
- Independent setting, hitting deliverables/deadlines
- Can be contacted at any point 24/7 (email, phone, etc.)
- Strong functional background
- Technical skills will be important as well
- PeopleCode, App Engine, App Desinger
