*Job Details:* *Job Title : Technical Data Analyst* *Location : Indianapolis, IN* *Duration : 12+ Months* *Job Description:* The Technical Data Analyst is responsible for understanding business requirements from internal and external and external stakeholders and providing technical requirements to the development teams in order to generate data needed for business outcomes. *Duties & Responsibilities:* Assess, and process change requests to understand the impacts to data and supporting systems, ensuring adherence to system architecture design standards, appropriate change control and regulatory requirements. Thorough understanding of data structures and ability to learn new systems and design technical requirements. Ability to display data in a digestible manner to technical and business owners. Work with development teams to gain access to data Work with Data Stewards and Data Quality Analysts to identify and correct errors in data Facilitate meetings and identify data needs from stakeholders *Required Skills:* *Experience with clinical data* Ability to manage *multiple projects* or tasks Proficient in *SQL* and relational database technology (*Oracle, Seibel)* Most important – understanding of *data integration and data modeling* Ability to manage multiple projects or tasks Excellent analytical and problem resolution skills Strong attention to detail Extensive knowledge of commercial business strategy and operations, including *data dependencies* Advanced knowledge of reporting and predictive analytics concepts, and a comprehensive understanding of evolving industry trends, practices and standards Understanding of information design and data structures in order to understand data implications of business requirements Working knowledge of data and integrations supporting analytics services. Self-starter, able to manage assigned tasks independently. Able to quickly understand business landscape and supporting processes. Proven experience ‘connecting the dots’ within IT systems. Experience working in a team oriented, collaborative environment. Excellent communication, leadership, problem solving and analytical skills. Ability to rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities. Solid analytical and strategic capabilities and business acumen along with demonstrated work ethic, integrity, and professional conduct. Ability & desire to learn multiple systems and processes quickly.
